2017 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport Limited Edition To Make Debut At Chicago Auto Show

This weekend marks the start of the 2017 Chicago Auto Show which will run from February 11-20. As the nation’s biggest auto show you can expect that automotive companies everywhere will be on hand to showcase their latest vehicles and technologies to attendees eager to hear more about what the brands have come up with in the last year. Mitsubishi is certainly no exception to this event and they have just announced that one of the main features of their exhibit will be the debut of the new Limited Edition trim level for the 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport."As the brand sales leader, Outlander Sport does an exemplary job of offering consumers unmatched value at an attractive price," said Don Swearingen, executive vice president and chief operating officer, MMNA. "We've now taken that approach one step further by integrating additional standard equipment and technology into the Limited Edition at a price point that is unprecedented within the broader CUV segment."The 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport Limited Edition will include features like 18” Alloy Wheels, Rear View Camera, Alloy Fuel Door, Fog Lamps, Black Painted Mirrors, HID Headlamps, Heated Front Seats, a Limited Edition Badge, Aluminum Pedals, a display audio system with Smartphone Link for Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, and a custom interior design with black fabric and red stitching on the Brake Lever, Steering Wheel, and Shift Knob. This new trim level option will come before the ES base model in order to offer customers valuable enhancements at an affordable rate. The 87th Geneva International Motor Show may not be taking place for more than a month but the Mitsubishi Motors Corporation has already announced that they will be debuting their newest compact SUV at this year’s show which takes place March 7-19. This new edition to the lineup will include a number of new style features such as a strikingly forceful character line along the side, a wedge-shaped belt line, a long wheelbase with short rear overhang proportions a rear window that has been raked more steeply, and heavily flared front and rear fenders. Mitsubishi Released “Man on the Street” Video Series
As we head into 2017 and Mitsubishi begins their centennial celebration, the brand is looking to highlight much of what they have accomplished over the past 100 years. Of course, celebrating Mitsubishi's success is not just about the company but also about the loyal customers who have helped the brand to stay in business all these years. As a result, they are looking to include those customers in the celebration with a series of “Man on the Street” interviews that they will be conducting with the attendees at various automotive shows throughout the year. These interviews will allow the fans to share what the Mitsubishi brand has meant to them. In this first video in the series, Mitsubishi caught up with a few of attendees at the 2016 LA Auto Show where they asked them to guess how long Mitsubishi has been making cars and then asked them to explain what “Find Your Own Lane” means to them. This year marks the centennial anniversary for the Mitsubishi brand and you can be sure that they are celebrating that incredible milestone.
