Winter Activities in New York

Now that the holidays are over, the magic of the season is starting to wear off and most of us are just counting down the days until Spring. What might make the cold days of Winter pass faster is keeping busy, and you’re in luck since there are tons of exciting Winter activities in our area! Here are a few of our favorites, you can get more ideas here.

Hit the slopes at Peek’n Peak Resort and Spa in Clymer NY. Bring the family for a day of ski and snowboard runs and some hot cocoa in the lodge after. Everyone will have a great day, and you’ll actually be grateful for the next snow storm.

Take a trip out to Niagara Falls State Park for a day, or even a long weekend, taking in the stunning sites. They’re beautiful in summer but there are few things as glorious as the falls in the winter.

Head to the state’s capitol to ice skate at the Empire State Plaza. Rentals and refreshments are available. Then after you’ve had your fun, you’re in the bustling city of Albany, NY which is full of things to do and places to eat.
