• Electronic fuel injection contributes to combustion efficiency, which provides cleaner emissions, better performance, improved fuel economy and superior starting and reliable operation in extreme weather conditions.
• Diesel direct injection - Crank up the power, cut down the fuel. By injecting fuel directly into the combustion chamber, the fuel mixture combines with the heat of compressed air, causing it to burn rapidly. This increases fuel economy and power while reducing noise for a quieter ride with added oomph, thanks to Diesel direct injection.
• Overhead cam engines developed out of racing technology. They easily operate at higher RPM and develop more horsepower than older engine designs. They are typically more efficient and responsive than OHV (pushrod) engines.
• An OHV (pushrod) engine typically generates low-end torque sooner than an OHC engine of similar size. Peak torque is achieved at a lower RPM in OHV engines than in other designs, providing good acceleration from a stop.
• Smooth operator. An automatic transmission eliminates the need to shift gears for smoother, more efficient driving.
