The seven passenger, 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander has just been awarded an IIHS Top Safety Pick+ rating, when equipped with its optional Touring Package*, for the fourth year in a row. To qualify for such a rating, the highest possible from the IIHS, a vehicle must receive a rating of good in five different crash tests, an acceptable or good rating for its headlights, and an advanced or superior rating for its front crash prevention system.

“At Mitsubishi Motors we are committed to safety and providing the best value for our customers,” said Don Swearingen, executive vice president and chief operating officer, MMNA. “Competitively priced, the 2017 Outlander remains a leader in reliability and has expanded upon last year’s model enhancements with new advanced safety technologies.”
