Mitsubishi Infotainment System and Technology: The Ultimate Driving Companion

The Mitsubishi infotainment system and technology suite is built to keep drivers connected, informed, and entertained with every trip. Whether you’re navigating city streets in Plattsburgh or setting out for a weekend getaway, Mitsubishi integrates smart connectivity with intuitive design, creating a driving experience that’s as seamless as it is safe. From wireless smartphone compatibility to advanced navigation tools and connected services, these systems are tailored to modern life on the road. What Sets the Mitsubishi Infotainment System Apart? Mitsubishi’s infotainment platform is more than just a screen — it’s a hub designed to simplify communication, entertainment, and navigation. Standard across most of the lineup, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ give you access to compatible apps, music, and messaging through the vehicle’s touchscreen or voice commands. Many models, like the 2025 Outlander, even offer wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, eliminating the need for cords. The interface itself is designed for ease of use, with responsive touchscreens, customizable layouts, and steering-wheel-mounted controls that let you stay focused on the road. In select trims, drivers also gain access to premium features such as built-in navigation with real-time traffic data, 3D mapping, and voice-guided directions. How to Connect Your iPhone to a Mitsubishi Getting started is quick and straightforward: Make sure your iPhone is running the latest iOS version. Connect your phone using either an Apple-approved USB cable or, if supported, pair wirelessly for Apple CarPlay®. When prompted on the infotainment screen, enable CarPlay and allow the system to access your iPhone. Once connected, you can launch apps like Maps, Messages, and Spotify directly through the touchscreen or by using Siri voice commands. This setup minimizes distraction, letting you keep your hands on the wheel and eyes on the road while still staying connected. Advanced Features That Enhance Every Drive The Mitsubishi infotainment system and technology extends well beyond basic connectivity. Depending on trim, drivers can enjoy: Premium audio systems, such as an available BOSE® surround-sound setup in the Outlander. Wireless charging pads and multiple USB-A/USB-C ports to keep devices powered on the go. My MITSUBISHI CONNECT™ services, which link your vehicle to your smartphone for remote access features like climate pre-conditioning, vehicle status updates, and emergency assistance. Head-Up Display (HUD) and multi-view camera systems on select models, adding another layer of convenience and safety. Paired with Mitsubishi’s suite of driver-assist features — including Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, and Forward Collision Mitigation — these technologies help create a driving environment that feels both modern and reassuring. Why Mitsubishi Technology Stands Out Mitsubishi emphasizes technology that’s functional, approachable, and reliable. Instead of overwhelming drivers with overly complex menus, the infotainment systems are designed around intuitive navigation and clear displays. Features vary by model and trim, but across the lineup, you’ll find thoughtful touches like wireless smartphone compatibility, customizable screens, and connectivity tools that keep pace with daily life. Add in the convenience of remote services through My MITSUBISHI CONNECT™, and it’s easy to see why the brand has become a favorite among drivers who value tech that’s as practical as it is forward-thinking. Experience Mitsubishi Technology Firsthand There’s no better way to understand Mitsubishi’s infotainment system than to experience it in person. Visit Della Mitsubishi in Plattsburgh, NY, to explore the latest models equipped with cutting-edge connectivity, advanced navigation, and premium sound. Test the features for yourself, and discover how Mitsubishi is redefining what it means to stay connected on the road.

Tax Credits Apply for Buyers of the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV

In a class by itself, the new 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV has more than 20,000 reasons to offer drivers to take this vehicle home with them. That's because the Outlander's competitors all cost about $20,000 more than this nifty CUV plug-in. Forbes: "If they get a chance to see and drive the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, the company’s prospects will be very bright. The Outlander PHEV is a plug-in, hybrid, electrical vehicle. Right now, there are few entrants into this emergent category. All but the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV are luxury-type vehicles with names longer than the cords used to plug them into an electrical outlet. However, the fuel economy of the Outlander PHEV is projected to be better than its toney rivals. The 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is a game changer. Especially if you need utility but want fuel savings too. You don't need two different vehicles: one to haul your stuff and the other you drive most of the time to save on fuel costs. The Outlander PHEV can do both. Mitsubishi reports that the Outlander PHEV is the best-selling Plug-in SUV in the world right now. The system itself is very straightforward, as these things go. A 12kWh lithium-ion battery pack is mounted at the bottom of the CUV, powering twin electric motors (one front/one rear). A 2.0-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine lives under the hood. Depending on the drive mode, the gasoline engine acts as either a generator or an engine, sending power to the front wheels. The combined system horsepower is estimated at 197. The PHEV comes with plenty of safety and driver assistance systems onboard, including standard advanced seven air bag SRS system with driver’s side knee air bag; anti-lock braking system (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA); Active Stability Control (ASC); Traction Control Logic (TCL); Hill Start Assist (HSA); Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS); Blind Spot Warning (BSW) with Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) and Lane Change Assist (LCA). It can also be fitted with Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Automatic High Beam (AHB) headlights, Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM) and Lane Departure Warning (LDW). The 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV has two trim levels: SEL, and GT. All Outlanders will carry a fully transferable 5-year/60,000-mile new vehicle limited warranty, a 10-year/100,000-mile Powertrain Limited Warranty, a 10-year/100,000-mile PHEV components and main drive battery warranty, a 7-year/100,000-mile anti-corrosion limited warranty and 5-year/unlimited roadside assistance. Federal and state tax credits will apply for most buyers, currently at least $5,836 (based on battery size). We have the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV in our showroom at Della Mitsubishi in Plattsburgh, NY. Stop by and let's take it out on the street so you can see all the advantages for yourself. Give us a call or visit our website if you should have any questions or prefer set an appointment to see the Outlander PHEV.

Mitsubishi Outlander & Outlander Sport Are Your Teen’s Perfect Match

Mitsubishi Outlander & Outlander Sport Are Your Teen’s Perfect Match When your teen is ready for their first vehicle we are sure that what they want and what you want are probably a little different. For most teens, it is all about the look. The eye-catching body and smooth, sculpted lines draw them in before they have even gotten behind the wheel. Once they do climb inside however, their attention is drawn to the dashboard where they proceed to explore all of the features such as the Bluetooth® system that will allow them to talk on our phone and drive without risking a ticket, because let's be honest, it's not like any teenager is capable of being detached from their phone for long periods of time. There is also the SiriusXM Satellite radio that offers literally hundreds of channels to choose from for your traveling listening pleasure. Then there are the fancy features such as the backup camera, adjustable seats, heated seats, heated steering wheels, and so many more features to grab their attention. At the end of the day all of the bells and whistles are what they are sure to notice first and why not? I mean at the end of the day for a teen it's all about bragging rights and being able to show off their sweet new ride to their friends and make the jealous. However, as parents there are a few things that I am sure you will remember to consider that your teen will most likely overlook. One factor is the price tag, since as much as your teen would love a brand new vehicle they will probably need to come back to reality and realized that used will fit better into the budget. The second, and most important factor to the parents at least, is safety. Mom and Dad understand that they can’t let style outshine substance. Therefore, while your teen is exploring the different settings on the driver’s seat, we know that you will be asks about the safety features that this vehicle is equipped with because no matter how cool the car may be if it can’t keep you child safe then it really isn’t that cool. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) recently put together a list of the safest and most affordable used cars for teens and the Mitsubishi Outlander and Outlander Sport both made the list. The IIHS included Outlander models 2014 and newer and Outlander Sport models 2011 and new as “Best Choices”. This means that the vehicles all have a starting MSRP of less than $20,000 and earned “Good” ratings in all of the IIHS crash safety tests. Therefore, safety and affordability come together like peanut butter and jelly for both of these vehicles. "Mitsubishi Motors prides itself on consistently delivering top safety features at an affordable price to ensure our customers receive the best possible value," said Don Swearingen, executive vice president and chief operating officer, MMNA. "As top sellers and leaders in reliability for the brand, the Outlander and Outlander Sport offer sound reassurance for parents searching for a car for their teen that is both safety conscious and engineered with precision." Head on over to DELLA Mitsubishi with your teen and check out both of these vehicles to see if they will be the perfect fit for your new driver!
